These molded-plastic components have a grooved perimeter for guiding cord, string, or small round belts and may also function as small model wheels. The center bore supports either a tight press-fit axle connection or a looser free-rotating axle arrangement depending on the selected axle diameter and intended motion.

Caution:

The center bore is approximately 3 mm, and actual fit may vary because of normal manufacturing tolerances in molded sheaves and axle rods. The 1/8 inch axle is intended to create a tight fit and may require moderate pressure during installation. The 3 mm axle is intended to provide clearance for freer rotation. Select cord, string, or belt diameter according to the approximately 2.5 mm groove opening and the intended application.
